Baby Cael - Take 2!

Cael's mom was kind enough to bring him back over for a 2nd time this week to try to get some sleepy shots with him since last time he was so alert and wiggly! We tried a few different techniques and I was able to catch a few adorable photos of little Cael. Here's a sneak peak.

Baby Cael

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing sweet baby Cale this morning and at 11 days old, this little peanut was wide awake and full of life! He was a very full term baby and was much more like a 2 month old than a newborn (not so sleepy!) but we managed to get some adorable shots of him. My love of babies and photography has given me this amazing opportunity to spend time with these little ones in their first days of life and for that, I feel so blessed. Here's a preview of our shoot.

Tevin

This week I had a photo shoot with my best friend's little boy Tevin, a simply adorable toddler with the most sparkling multi-coloured eyes! He was full of activity and gave us the most interesting faces, and especially evident was the love he has for his Mama. Check out a preview below.

Gorman Family Portraits

Last weekend I had the pleasure of shooting in this wonderful spring-like weather, what a beautiful day it was! We headed out to Colony Farm to take these pictures of the Gorman family and it was so much fun. Little Aidan was shy at first but after he got comfortable in front of the camera he hammed right up! Here's a preview of our shoot.

Catherwood Family Portraits

Today I had the pleasure of photographing a family with a whole lotta love going around. I've been a part of my friend Jackie's life for almost 30 years and its amazing to see her children grow, especially since her daughter Claire is the same age now as Jackie was when we met each other. She reminds me so much of her Mama. We had so much fun trying to get the twins to laugh and play together - this is a family that definitely knows how to have fun! And the family dog Abby was a perfect addition to the shoot, he's a very photogenic puppy! Here's a preview of our morning.

Luka Poses for Head Shots

I tested out my new mini-tripod today and got Luka to sit for a few pictures. I can hardly wait until Spring when we can get outside again and take some colorful Springtime pictures at the park! Looking forward to shooting the Catherwoods tomorrow. Twin 2 year olds... fun! or shall I say... challenging!

Cate

I spent some time with my adorable niece Cate this morning - who is turning 1 year old very soon. Her mom and I had a great time being silly trying to get Catie to laugh, and she did give us some sweet smiles after all! She has the biggest, round blue eyes you've ever seen and she's as lovely as can be. Happy Birthday Kitty Cat!

Portraits of Luka

In preparation for a shoot tomorrow with my niece Cate, I transformed my almost 6 year old son into a glamour model today... poor guy, right? He didn't mind though, in fact I think he secretly enjoys it!! LOL

He was so still for me and those eyes make every shot worthwhile!
